2. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by helloly GmbH, Rainerstrasse 25, 4020 Linz, Austria. When you access the website, the web server processes technical access data. This may include your IP address, date and time, requested URL, HTTP status, transferred data volume, browser/operating system information and referring URL.

Processing serves website delivery, security and troubleshooting. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website. Helloly processes hosting data as a service provider for this website.

Access logs are retained according to the retention and deletion settings configured in the hosting service. Data relating to specific security incidents may be retained for as long as necessary to investigate them.

3. AWStats visitor statistics

We use the hosting service's AWStats server statistics to analyse access logs, particularly page requests, requested files and referring websites. Analysis takes place on the server. No tracking code runs on the public homepage pages and no analytics cookie is set for this purpose.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in understanding the use and technical operation of our website. The underlying logs may contain personal data, particularly IP addresses. Statistics are accessible through the protected hosting account and are not published by us. Statistics are subject to the retention and deletion settings configured in the hosting service.

4. Cookies and browser storage

The public homepage pages use no analytics or advertising cookies and store no visitor identifier in your browser. Matomo and Google Analytics are not integrated for website tracking. The homepage and user guide use separate language pages.

This applies to the public homepage. Protected administration areas such as cPanel and the Matomo administration are separate.

5. Email enquiries

When you email us, we process your email address, message and any contact details you provide to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for responding to enquiries. The email service providers used are involved in this processing.

Messages are retained for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and, where applicable, comply with statutory retention obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

6. External links

Links such as those to Google Play or other websites lead to services operated by others. Simply displaying a link does not embed an external tracking service. When you follow a link, the provider's privacy notice applies.

7. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation.
